Marianne covers the mixing, sampling, and editing. She's also the band's manager, allowing the others to focus more on the band's creative side.
In combat, Marianne analyzes enemies, provides support, and helps the party navigate.
Marianne is a girl who feels the need to fix things for others, to take their burdens and make them hers, trying to save others from drowning as she herself sinks to the deepest depths. It distracts her from her own troubles and makes her feel she has something to offer those she cares for, as she feels forever indebted to her friends. Despite her soft-spoken demeanor, she carries herself with confidence in all her actions. She's quiet, but far from shy. She enjoys music, both creating and listening to it. It's another way she can distract herself, getting lost in another world, even for a brief moment. Despite resenting her role as a distraction from tragedy, she chooses to cope by distracting herself further.
Marianne has to carry the burden of knowledge. She is the only one of the Dollfaces who is aware of the nature of her existence - not only that she's a videogame character, but one who only exists to cover up a horrific tragedy. One based on a series of mascots who only bring pain and suffering into the world. She resents it. It's a secret she wishes to spare her friends from.
Marianne's name used to be "Charlotte". She's since had it changed, and takes great offense to being called by it.
Marianne's eye color is yellow.
Marianne's design is heavily inspired by Vivian from Zenless Zone Zero.
