Springs used to be the guitarist for Cass's band, but now lives on the run, in search of vengeance for her and her lost friend.
In combat, Springs specializes in heavy damage, debuffs, and status ailments. She joins your party during Act 2, and following the events of the story, starts her own band.
PERSONALITY
Springs' time on the run made her rather resourceful. While she's skilled in combat and survival, the same cannot be said for her social skills. She has a hard time getting close to and trusting others, and given the lies Afton's spread about her, she assumes nobody would trust her anyway. She wants nothing more than to kill Afton for what he did to her and Cass.
BACKGROUND
When [REDACTED], Springs was the only one to catch on to what was happening and tried to stop them, but lost the scuffle after suffering significant injuries. But Afton did not kill her. He would instead use her as a source of Agony. Using the spirits whom he had fooled into trusting him, he told them that Springs was to blame for their suffering, and told them to do their worst, but to keep her alive. What followed were months of endless, misguided torment at the hands of vengeful spirits, being punished for the sins of Afton. She accumulated countless scars, both mental and physical. The agony generated from this further fuelled Afton and his creations.
Whether it was the spirit's doing, or the prolonged exposure to agony, at some point in the process, she gained immortality and stopped aging entirely. Despite the endless torment, Springs endured, and she grew wise to how Afton and the Phantoms operated. She finally managed to escape after years in captivity and has been on the run ever since, plotting her revenge against Afton.

"Springs" is just a nickname; her real name is Vanessa.
Springs' design is heavily inspired by ABA from Guilty gear, specifically her appearence in Guilty Gear: Strive!
Springs was originally the main antagonist in earlier drafts of Animaid's story.
